If someone else wants to fork my very basic project and do that kind of thing go for it!
The entire goal of this quick project is to give people a basic mod launcher. AML is doing amazing things I have no intention of ever supporting like checking for mod conflicts or missing dependencies. I'll add that in later this week, but if you do not plan to change any mods up you can just launch XCOM 2 like normal as your ini file should still be fine. It does not currently keep track of what mods you had activated between launches so you have to recheck them. I have the Steam version so if someone who has both wants to confirm for me that there are no differences between folder structure I can just make some assumptions based off of that and we can all cross our fingers. No WotC support, I don't own WotC on Epic or Gog so I have no way to test. Steps are included in the repo on how to download, install, and run. You check mark the ones you want and click Launch XCOM 2 and it will rewrite your DefaultModOptions.ini file with your activated mods.
This is, and I can not stress this enough, something I threw together in about 2 hours for all the new players of XCOM 2 thanks to the Epic giveaway.Ĭurrently you give it your install directory for XCOM 2 and click Refresh and it will scan for your installed mods in the "Mods" folder and list them for you.
